Welcome to the 3-D beaded rounded heart pattern instructions! If you have any difficulty following this tutorial, please post a comment at the bottom of the page on which you are stuck, and I'll do my best to help!
Step 1 : We left off at the last step with adding 4 new seed beads to the pattern, the last one being the large blue seed bead labelled with a purple dot. In this step, we will be crossing that seed bead with the two ends of the fishing line, as shown in the picture. Remember to pull tight!
Step 2 : This is the very last set of beads we will be adding to surround the circle of 6 small white inner beads. So these next two steps will be slightly different from the last few because we will be stringing through two existing beads in the pattern, rather than just one. Specifically, take the end of the fishing line depicted by a red arrow and string it through first the small white seed bead labelled by a red X, then the large blue seed bead labelled with a red X. To the other end of the fishing line, add only 3 new beads (in contrast to the usual 4), the last one added being the small white bead labelled with a purple X (notice that usually the last bead added is a large blue seed bead).
Step 3 : This step is very simple and routine. Just cross the last bead that was added to the heart pattern! In other words, cross the small white seed bead labelled with a purple X, with the other end of the fishing line.
Step 4 : Here we are embarking on a new section of the heart pattern. We are going to start from one of the sets of two white seed beads that you see all around this structure that we have created, and we are going to expand those two white seed beads into another inner circle of white seed beads. But this next one will only contain 5 seed beads in the center, and we will be surrounding this circle with more sets of alternating large and small seed beads. If you are confused, just keep following the pattern and you will see what I mean. So in this step, take the end of the fishing line depicted by the black arrow and string it through the small white seed bead labelled with a green dot. This small white seed bead is already in the heart pattern, so don't add a new bead here! Now you have collected two white seed beads, so we'll be adding 3 more new ones to complete the new inner circle of 5 small white seed beads. So, to do this, add 3 new small white seed beads to the other end of the fishing line (depicted by a red arrow), the last small white bead to be added is labelled with a blue dot.
Step 5 : This step is very simple! Just cross the last small white bead that was added, which is the bead labelled with a blue dot. Now do you see the circle of 5 small white beads that has formed? This will be the basis for our next outer circle of alternating large blue and small white seed beads.
