Beaded Rounded Heart Pattern

Step 1

Step 1 : As promised, in this step we are forming that new circle of 5 beads that I just told you about. We are stringing through the 2 small white seed beads labelled with black dots, and we are adding 2 new ones. So, take the end of the fishing line depicted by a black arrow and string it through the two small white seed beads labelled with black dots. Then, onto the same end of the fishing line, add 2 new small white seed beads. The second bead to be added is labelled with a green dot. You don't have to do anything with the other end of the fishing line in this step.

Step 2

Step 2 : This step is very simple. Just cross the last bead that was added to the pattern, in other words the small white seed bead labelled with a green dot. Notice in this picture that there are two beads labelled with yellow X's. We are going to be stringing through them in the next step. We will also be stringing back through the large blue bead labelled with a white X, that we added to the pattern a couple of steps ago.

Step 3

Step 3 : So as promised, here we are stringing through those 3 beads I just mentioned, and these beads already exist in your pattern. So take the end of the fishing line depicted by a black arrow and string it through the large blue seed bead labelled with a white X, then the small white seed bead and the large blue seed bead labelled with yellow X's. Then, onto the same end of the fishing line, add the 2 new beads shown in the picture, a small white seed bead and a large blue seed bead labelled with a purple dot. You don't have to touch the other end of the fishing line in this step.

Step 4

Step 4 : This step is easy! Simple cross the large blue bead labelled with a purple dot (the last new bead that was added to the pattern) with both ends of the fishing line, in opposite directions. We are now almost done the second hump of the heart, and the entire heart pattern in general! We only have to do the top of the heart and then we are done!

Step 5

Step 5 : So you may have noticed in the picture for the previous step that there are two beads labelled with red dots that I didn't mention. But I labelled them for clarity between the last step and this step. You are going to be stringing through those two beads in this step, in an attempt to reach the top of the heart, so that we can finish it off. So, take the end of the fishing line depicted by the black arrow and string it through the small white seed bead and the large blue seed bead, both labelled with red dots. Then, onto the same end of the fishing line, add the 3 new seed beads shown in the picture. The last new bead to be added is a small white seed bead labelled with a pink dot.
