Beaded Rounded Heart Pattern

Step 1

Step 1 : So this is the side angle view of the heart, on the side of the missing hump. It's the same beads shown in the previous step, but that was more of a diagonal view. You can see the 3 small white seed beads with green X's, and the small white seed bead with a red dot. You can also see that we are adding 2 new small white beads to the heart pattern. So, take the end of the fishing line depicted by a red arrow and string it through the three small white seed beads labelled with green X's. Then, to the other end of the fishing line, add 2 new small white seed beads. The last one to be added is labelled with a blue dot.

Step 2

Step 2 : Now cross the small white seed bead labelled with a blue dot. In other words, pass the end of the fishing line depicted by a red arrow through that bead, in the opposite direction from the other end of the fishing line. Pull tight and you should see your new circle of 6 small white seed beads formed on the very side of the heart.

Step 3

Step 3 : Now we are going to continue our way up the side of the heart, joining the front and back sides along the way, just like a surgeon stitching someone back up. So take the end of the fishing line depicted by a black arrow and string it through the large blue seed bead labelled with a red dot. To the other end of the fishing line, add the 4 new beads shown in the picture. The last bead to be added is a small white seed bead labelled with a red X.

Step 4

Step 4 : Now cross the small white seed bead labelled with a red X. In other words, string the end of the fishing line depicted by a black arrow through that bead. We are starting to see the second hump of our beaded heart forming!

Step 5

Step 5 : This is a picture of the exact same step, however, it's from a slightly different angle because we are now going to move back inwards to the front of the heart to complete the hump on that side. Also, notice that two small white seed beads are labelled with black dots. That is because we are going to be stringing through them with the fishing line in the next step. We are going to be forming a new circle of small white seed beads, and this one will consist of 5 beads. For this picture, there are no new steps to do. Just examine your model for those two beads and this orientation of the pattern.
