I wanted to bead something for my mother for mothers day but I have no idea what!
Here are her "conditions":
-She doesn't like heavy jewelry or much jewelry at all
-I don't know what she'd do with a little hello kitty or beaded winnie the pooh if you know what I mean
-I wan't to give her something she will always love

How precious! You could also make her a beaded flower, like in Jen's pattern:

Do you suppose she could wear it as a brooch if you mounted a brooch backing onto it?
If you used matching colour schemes, I bet you could fit the flower inside the heart box and give them together! You'd have to use bigger beads for the box and smaller beads for the flower.

How beautiful! How did you make the blue beads stick out from the gold borders? Or is that an optical illusion?

ahah :) i think its just an illusion. They probably stick out because they are slightly bigger then the other beads... and that makes them stand out more.
