, California, Monday, January 26, 2009, 23:46Hi guys, I thought I would share my wonderful find with all of you. I stumbled on One World One Heart (OWOH) the other day on one of the blogs I follow. I saw some of you mention doing blogs when you introduced yourself so I think you all will find this really cool. OWOH is a world wide blog giveaway event hosted by Lisa Oceandreamer Swifka. Participants list items on their blogs to giveaway and all the links are listed on the main site. The idea is to meet and mingle with bloggers all over the world, ones you would other wise not meet. While some blogs require you to have an active blog (they will say so on their post), most only require you to post a comment with your e-mail so they can contact you. If you would like to hop on the OWOH gypsy caravan and host a giveaway on your blog, you have until midnight PST on Feb 3rd to send Lisa your link. The blog giveaways run through Feb. 11th. Jax, what does it mean "blog giveaway"? You have to make something and give it away on your blog?

It means if you have a blog, you can offer a giveaway if you like, something you made, bought, something you sell in your online store, etc. But you don't have to do a giveaway. There is a list on the OWOH main site that has all the participants that are doing a giveaway. So you can go check out their blogs and put your comment on the site to possible win the prize they are offering. Some say you can only enter if you are an active blogger, but most just ask that you leave a comment. It's like having an open house with a door prize for your blog. Plus you have a huge list of artists and crafters who have blogs for you to check out. I think its fun to see what everybody else is doing. I have so many new ideas that I want to try after looking around the blog list!
