I took this picture a few years ago in Monterey in Feb. I am so gonna retire on the coast and open a bead store. (yeah I know don't remind me how long that will be from now!) I found some of the coolest shells there too. In fact I just found the container I stashed them in the other day so I am gonna have to figure out something to make with them soon.

Each was hand-crafted using traditional techniques and materials by master artisans combining traditional and contemporary motifs. Every single basket is painstakingly constructed using thousands of seed beads on the woven rattan baskets, elaborately and intricately hand-beaded to create these pieces one of a kind collector’s treasures.
