Ok, so im making this..but im confused. I've just finished the head and the eyes, but on the step where it tells you to add the nose/snout...It never told you how to MAKE the snout. Im asuming its just a square pattern but its still confusing! Lol. Do I make a square and add it on seperately? Im not following these steps, lol..
And, why are there two sets of directions on how to make the head? @_@ Im confused! Lol

I am gonna try my best. It looks like the snout is made after you finish the head. When you are looking at the face with the eyes up, it looks like you should have a circle of 4 beads. One at the top between the eyes two to the sides of that and one directly at the bottom. The bottom bead is where you should have one thread coming out of each side of that bead. Place one pink on each thread, add a yellow bead to one side and cross thru with the other thread, place one yellow bead on each thread, add one black bead to one thread and cross thru with the other thread, add one pink bead on each thread, then cross your thread thru the top of the bead circle of four, (the pink bead directly between the two eyes). Then it looks like you weave back thru and create one ear per thread. Does that make any sense and did it help?

hehe, looks like I'm no longer needed here. LOL! You guys are on here more than me! I'm so sorry about being so busy. When December comes, you'll be just trying to get rid of me! LOL! That's a cute panther by the way. It's cute how the written instructions are written on a piece of paper and then scanned. I guess typing Chinese lettering is harder than writing it and scanning it!

LOL no way Allegra! we're going to all be begging and hounding you for patterns! Hehe. I got that book btw! But, I THINK I've got most of it figured out. Once i figure a few out, I'll try and post them!..TRY...Lol!

You might want to try some patterns from this website first, they're all in English. Once you're more comfortable with right angle weave you should be able to understand it better.

No, everything is free on this site, and no need to register or anything. Just have a look around. It would probably be a good idea to check out the techniques page first, then make the hello kitty pattern or pig pattern first, then go for it.
The site has been a bit stagnant lately due to reasons beyond our control, but once you've gotten through all the ones already listed you should be fine to check out the other stuff people list in the forum.
