Disney Beaded Fantasy Motifs
Does anyone know how to translate from Japanese to English? I just received my "Disney Beaded Fantasy Motifs" in the mail today from Japan and I'm needing it translated to understand it better. Has anyone else who owns this found something that can translate it? Thank you!!!!

Hello.
So as I've read, you've purchased a physical copy of a Japanese bead book, and want to get this copy translated? My response is: many beaders, myself included, have had success following the diagrams with no translation.
If you are completely unfamiliar with the Asian style techniques for bead animals, I recommend starting on Click this website. Start with a project like the beaded snowman or the teddy bear. This author walks you through the individual steps, how to add the beads, how the technique works. As you can see, the diagrams on the website are very similar to the Japanese bead books, only this website breaks the diagrams down so a beginner can understand. After you do a few of these projects, you should be able to complete a project in your book. Most diagrams start with the bead marked with a star. This is the route I took to learning to make bead animals, and I've completed many projects out of Japanese books I've purchased and the korean website www.artbeads.co.kr/recipes
If you still need help, try scanning a specific diagram from your book and me or another forum user could help you with the steps.

Hi Ash!
Thank you sooo much for the great link!! Thank you also to 3Dbeading.com for the great how-to tutorial on how to do 3D beading. I'm a visual learner and so the step-by-step tutorial helped me tremendously! I'm now on my third 3D beading project. Thanks again!!!
