My first peyote beaded pen!!!

I wish I could have gotten the beads all the way covering the grey area on the pen, but the stupid arm of the pen wouldn't allow me to push them up further. I was so sad about that, but oh well.
The flat peyote pattern:

I made up the lettering! I tried to imitate what his signature looks like. You like? (I should mention this is a pen I made for my boyfriend) I won't say what his name is because hopefully you should be able to make it out from the pattern, or I have failed miserably. LOL!

This is my original drawing on paper of the pen pattern. This was about the 10th attempt at drawing lettering. LOL!
As a "bonus" LOL, since I'm in the posting mood, here's a beaded heart I recently picked up in Chinatown! It's relatively flat (although double-sided so puffy) so I should be able to make a diagram pattern out of it easily!^^

It looks great. I really like the cursive letters. I hope the pen has refillable ink so he can use it for a long time! Or at least make him put it on his desk to show off!
