I don't have the funds to go out and buy crystals right now, so I had to make the birdie from what I have here on hand, which is some acrylic bicones I picked up to use for practice. I didn't have two sizes, so I couldn't follow the pattern directions exactly, but he still looks pretty cute.

It took me a little over 2 hours to make it. I did get confused at one point because I crossed into the wrong bead, but once I got that straightened out the rest of it flew along. I'd like to try making some with the right materials when I am able to.
