Help with 3D Chihuahua - Body

Hi everyone,
I'm new to 3D beading, and this is a great website! I found a link here for a 3D chihuahua pattern. I somewhat successfully made one, although I used larger beads so I could more easily see what I was doing. (And besides, I didn't have any swarovskis on hand!) Mine turned out a little floppy, and I think I messed up a little on the body.

The instructions are in Spanish,which I translated with Google Chrome. Can anyone look at step 29 in this pattern and explain what is going on? I think this is where I messed up. I can't really tell what is going on there...
