Japanese beaded animals
, Wednesday, May 26, 2010, 08:11Japanese mascot beading patterns? does anyone have any really good translations in english for them?
I have patterns but I am a little confused as to how to go about doing them. I can get the pattern and do it but it comes out flat and I was wondering if its suppose to be flat and then I'm suppose to make it 3d by kind of pulling it all together? I'm not sure. If anyone has any information about this style of beading I would really appreciate any tips or even patterns!

You can take the help of Google Toolbar in translating the pages from Japanese to English.
Recently I used it when I stumbled upon beadmania.com, a website in Japanese and artbeads.co.kr, a website in Korean language. Both sites have really cute 3D patterns and simple to follow diagrams. If you are good at RAW you can follow most of them even without translation.

Thank you for the sites! I can't seem to find any patterns on the japanese one, but the korean one has over 50 pages of 'recipes' as they call them XD
