At Rings & Things there is a Mermaid pattern almost identical to this one. It is a PDF download in 3 parts and it is free. Please let me know if you find it,I downloaded it a long time ago.

Sorry about that, I do have a 3D one also that looks also almost like that,but it is in Russian but as far as I remember the diagrams are very easy to follow,will have a look for it for you in my files and post it here if it is easy to follow,will check it out first properly. The one at Rings and Things is still a very nice pattern for anyone else that is interested and it does look like the mermaid that you are after.

Hi Fatima,
This is a 3D mermaid but the instructions are in French. The one in the Russian book does not have step for step diagrams it only shows you the technique used and the rest of the pattern you have to read and it is all in Russian and it is also 3D which is done in either Peyote or Brick stitch.If I find anymore mermaids in my files I will let you know. If you are interested I will check tomorrow if they are still at the site for you to download as I did download them a long time ago. It is the middle of winter and it is snowing on the mountains and I am very tired and cold.I hope this is what you are looking for.

Here in Mumbai,India it is hot &humid though it does rain heavily sometimes since these r the months of the monsoons.Plz do not trouble yrself anymore& take xtremely good care of yrself

You are most welcome. While I was going through my files I found some more mermaid patterns. Here are some other patterns for mermaids if anyone is interested . The last mermaid picture is the pattern from CHECKERBEADS and the link was posted here not so long ago but I cannot remember by whom and I also posted the link for CRAFTERS COMMUNITY ( where you will find the pattern) at Beading Pattern Requests here at the 3D Beading Forum.
